With volatile times, one has to stay dynamic. Some refugees still see the quality of their daily life decrease gradually. It is time to meet the needs where they are most demanded. With the closing of Iliadis camp, the Pharma Community Kitchen and its supplies are redirected to serve meals to the refugees in the streets of Thessaloniki. Luckily, there is a better system in place than when I was there: The people in the streets thanked me repeatedly for serving the first warm meal they enjoyed in a long time. We are now collaborating with Team Banana, FoodKind, Soul Kitchen, IHA and many others to attempt to deliver them three meals per day and many other items. Our pretty little kitchen survives and continues to serve those in need; great job team!!
